FuturesPosition.com was born from a simple frustration: why should accurate position sizing require a paid tool, a spreadsheet, or mental math mid-session?
Every professional futures trader knows that position sizing - not entry signals - is what separates accounts that survive from accounts that don't. Yet most free calculators are clunky, inaccurate, or buried in paywalled platforms.
We built FuturesPosition.com to change that. Our calculator gives you the same position sizing precision that professional traders use, directly in your browser, with no sign-up, no ads obscuring the tool, and no cost.
Whether you're trading your first Micro NQ contract or managing a multi-contract ES position, accurate position sizing should be a given - not a premium feature.
Three ideas guide every decision we make about this tool.
Point values, margin estimates, and contract specifications are verified against CME Group data. We'd rather show no result than a wrong one - bad position sizing costs real money.
Markets move fast. A calculator that takes 3 seconds to load is useless when price is moving. Our tool loads instantly and calculates in real-time with every keystroke.
No account required. No email capture. No paywalled "pro" features. The same tool a beginner uses is the same tool a professional uses - and that's intentional.
FuturesPosition.com started as a spreadsheet and grew into the tool thousands of traders use every session.
Like most traders, we managed position sizing with a Google Sheet. It worked - until it didn't. Formula errors mid-session, mobile incompatibility, and the sheer friction of switching windows during a trade made it clear there had to be a better way.
We built the first version of the calculator to solve our own problem - supporting MNQ, ES, and YM. We shared it in a trading Discord and the response was immediate. Traders wanted more contracts, more output data, and mobile support.
We added RTY, CL, GC, and all Micro variants. Added profit targets at 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 risk-reward ratios. Launched the Chrome Extension so the calculator is always one click away inside any trading platform.
FuturesPosition.com now helps thousands of futures traders size their positions correctly every day. The tool remains 100% free, with no sign-ups and no paywalls. That's not changing.
See for yourself why thousands of futures traders use FuturesPosition.com every session to manage their risk.
